With seven years of experience in Accounts and Finance, I have worked across multiple financial functions, gaining strong expertise in accounting operations, financial administration, and cross-departmental support. At Aptus Legal Ltd, I am responsible for managing a wide range of accounting activities, including day-to-day financial processing, reconciliations, reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. My background across various finance roles enables me to contribute effectively to the firm’s operational efficiency and support its commitment to delivering reliable and transparent financial management.

Foreign-qualified lawyer with prior experience working at the Supreme Court of India and the Delhi High Court. Holds a Master of Laws (LLM) from the University of Manchester and a BA LLB from Amity Law School, Noida. Brings international legal experience and a strong academic background to commercial and residential conveyancing and business acquisition matters.

Tony is a Director and Qualified Solicitor in the firm’s Commercial and Residential Property department. He completed his LLB in 2016, followed by the Legal Practice Course in 2017 alongside an LLM.

Tony advises on a broad range of property matters, including leasehold and freehold transactions, new-build and buy-to-let properties, unregistered land, refinances, and other residential property matters. He also acts for corporate and individual clients on commercial property transactions and business acquisitions.

Jiji Valliarayil is the Founder and Managing Director of Aptus Legal, where he also leads the firm’s Conveyancing department as Head of Conveyancing. Qualified in 2010, he began his legal career with law firms in and around Leeds, building a strong reputation for practical advice and client-focused service.

Jiji has developed extensive experience in both residential and commercial conveyancing, acting for a wide range of private and corporate clients. He is particularly well known for being consistently approachable, responsive, and available when clients need clear guidance and decisive action.

In addition to conveyancing, Jiji’s practice includes Immigration and Private Client work, including Wills and Probate, offering clients support across key life and family matters with the same calm, attentive approach.

Jiji is also a qualified lawyer in India, where he previously practised in civil and criminal matters, bringing broader legal insight and experience to his work in England.

I am a Legal Assistant at Aptus Legal Ltd, where I support our client-focused team in delivering clear, efficient, and personalised legal services. My role involves managing case files, coordinating deadlines, and assisting solicitors to ensure every legal process runs smoothly and accurately. With a postgraduate background in International Banking and Investment, I bring strong analytical skills and financial insight to my work, helping review documentation and maintain precise records. I work closely with clients and colleagues to provide timely updates, uphold confidentiality, and ensure a seamless experience throughout the legal process. I take pride in contributing to the firm’s mission of providing trusted, reliable, and client-centered support across conveyancing, commercial transactions, and regulatory matters

I work as a paralegal, where I help turn complex property transactions into smooth, well-managed journeys for my clients. I hold a Law degree and an LLM, which give me a strong legal foundation and a thoughtful, detail-driven approach to my work. I support matters from start to finish, preparing legal documentation, managing files, and working closely with clients and third parties to keep everything moving efficiently and clearly. What truly sets me apart is my people-focused approach. I believe legal support should feel reassuring, not overwhelming, and I take pride in being approachable, organised, and responsive at every stage. My goal is always to provide clarity, care, and confidence throughout the conveyancing process.

I hold a B.Com LL.B degree from the University of Mumbai and began my legal career gaining hands-on experience with the Mumbai District Courts and the Bombay High Court. During this time, I developed a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, procedural compliance, and court practice, working closely with advocates on a wide range of civil and criminal matters.

I am with Aptus Legal (UK), where I work within the Completion and Post-Completion department, supporting residential conveyancing transactions. My role involves managing post-completion formalities, coordinating with lenders, ensuring accurate documentation, and maintaining compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements. This position has strengthened my understanding of UK conveyancing processes and cross-border legal operations.

I have been part of the Jiji's team for the past few years, where I have consistently contributed through my attention to detail, reliability, and ability to handle complex legal workflows efficiently. With experience spanning Indian courts and UK legal support services, I bring a practical, detail-oriented approach and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality legal support.
